Assessment in the primary cycle of European schools

Assessment is not something you do at fixed moments in time, but it is an on-going process which involves different stakeholders: teachers, pupils and parents, and which reflects pupils’ progression over time. Together, the stakeholders use a wide range of tools. These tools are important because they provide a range of different kinds of information and data and they provide a concrete measure of the child´s learning in all aspects of his/her development.
