Children who are six years of age by the 1st of September and who meet the admission criteria of the accredited European School Tyrol, can be admitted to the first year of primary school.
The deadlines for enrolment in the first year of primary school will be announced in good time. Enrolment usually takes place throughout January, February and March. An application for enrolment from families coming to Tyrol at a later date can be submitted throughout the school year.
The admission procedure consists of an age-appropriate orientation interview conducted at the respective location of the accredited European School Tyrol to determine linguistic flexibility and creativity, motivation and social maturity. Subsequently, the school management team conducts an interview with the parents or guardians as a further basis for admission, during which the assignment or choice of the respective language section (English, Italian or German) is also agreed upon. The school management team then delivers a decision regarding the admission.
Students with special learning needs are supported by comprehensive pedagogical support measures.
