Amici Day - New Friends' Day 2024
Welcome to the New School Year 2025/26

A special greeting to all new families joining the Accredited European School Tyrol. Find out more about upcoming activities and how to get involved with the Parents’ Interest Association here.

In March 2025, the Parents’ Interest Association of the Accredited European School Tyrol (short: EIV-AES Tirol) was founded.

This association is unique in its form, as it represents the interests of parents and children across three school locations in Innsbruck and a total of 12 school levels – at Volksschule Saggen, Volksschule Wilten, and the Akademisches Gymnasium Innsbruck.

Parent Representatives by School Location – Direct and Accessible Contact

For this reason, we find it particularly important to have a dedicated parent representative for each school location who serves as a direct point of contact and coordinator on the board:

  • Parent Representative – AGI Location (Secondary D/E/I): Magdalena Schlögl

  • Parent Representative – VS Saggen Location (Primary D/E): Patrick Skoniezki

  • Parent Representative – VS Wilten Location (Primary I): Lorenza Scarpa

Mission and Purpose – What We Do and How

The association is committed to the principles of the European Schools: mutual tolerance, respect, diversity, multiculturalism, and multilingualism.

Its purpose is to deepen cooperation:

  • with the principals, teachers, students, parents or legal guardians of the participating schools,

  • between the individual educational sites,

  • with the existing parents’ associations at each school location and to support their activities, as well as the implementation of joint projects,

  • with other Accredited European Schools and European Schools throughout Europe.

We support community-building projects and initiatives that enable the implementation of the values and goals of the European School and the educational mission of each school site.

Membership – How You Can Support

Parents and legal guardians of students attending a class of the Accredited European School Tyrol at any of the participating school sites are eligible for membership.

You can become a member by submitting the signed membership form via email to eltern [at] aes-tirol [dot] eu

Important: In the interest of maintaining strong cooperation with the existing parents' associations at the school locations, it has been agreed that no additional membership fee will be charged for EIV-AES Tirol at this time.

The EIV-AES Tirol community thrives on active parent participation. We warmly welcome enthusiastic engagement through project and activity ideas, attendance at events and meetings, and voluntary contributions (e.g., graphic design, website support, event organization, etc.).

Write to us or talk to us!

If you are interested in contributing your time on a voluntary basis in a dynamic team, have suggestions or ideas for initiatives, or if you have any questions, we would be happy to hear from you at eltern [at] aes-tirol [dot] eu – or feel free to speak with us in person.
