AES Tyrol expands to include kindergarten site – signing of the AES cooperation agreement

The Accredited European School (AES) Tyrol is expanding its educational provision to include the Daniel Sailer Kindergarten in Innsbruck. From 2027 onwards, this will create a continuous multilingual educational programme from early childhood through to the European Baccalaureate. By autumn 2026, AES Tyrol already expects to have more than 800 pupils enrolled.

The expansion of the Accredited European School Tyrol was formally confirmed on Monday, 11 May 2026, at the Tyrol Provincial Government Offices in Innsbruck with the signing of the AES cooperation agreement. Until now, the AES programme has comprised primary and secondary education and will now be extended to include the Daniel Sailer Kindergarten. From autumn 2027, AES Tyrol will thus offer a continuous educational pathway from kindergarten up to the European Baccalaureate. In addition to the Daniel Sailer Kindergarten, this includes Saggen Primary School, Altwilten Primary School and the Akademisches Gymnasium Innsbruck.
