International Women´s Day

In section 1 of AES Altwilten with L1 Italian, we enjoyed a special activity within the European project class.

We discussed an important day for our country, International Women's Day. We watched a video together and discussed the content of the video as well as the importance of Women's Day. We also talked about the symbol of this holiday (the mimosa) and made a card to congratulate and thank the women in our family.

The school also serves this purpose: to raise the children's awareness and to deal with sensitive issues in a playful way.
