From shearing to thread – Year 1 is now spinning!

The 1st grade had a visit from Martina Thaler, who introduced us to an old craft: how sheep's wool is turned into yarn. Step by step, she showed us the process "from shearing to yarn" – and we even got to try the spindle ourselves! We learned that spinning isn't that easy... but it's pretty exciting!
